Verhandlung.blog Expanded with an English Edition
From its first birthday on, the blog’s articles will also be released in English for international readers at Negotiation-blog.eu
Berlin, 22 January 2018: For a year now, Verhandlung.blog-author Thorsten Hofmann analyses and comments on current political and economic negotiations. For its first anniversary, the project becomes international: from now on, all articles will additionally be published in English at Negotiation-blog.eu.
With the expansion, the blog aims to acknowledge the growing readership in non-German speaking areas. Hofmann: “It is not least thanks to our loyal and fast-growing readership that Verhandlung.blog is a success. There have been increasing numbers of request to translate our articles to English in the past months. With the expansion of our services, we would like to show our gratitude.”
The Verhandlung.blog by the Quadriga University Berlin’s Center for Negotiation (CfN) understands itself as a platform to present negotiation processes form all areas in a well-founded and fact-based manner as well as to pay attention to strategy, tactics and psychology. In the past year, the main focus was put on the examination of current case studies that directly connected both theory and practice. Amongst others, the blog not only threw a light upon the still open question of the implementation of a German Federal Government, but also on the controversial European debate over the “Brexit” or the continuously escalating conflict between North Korea and the USA.
The German-speaking edition of the Blog will still be accessible at Verhandlung.blog or via the website of the Institute for Crisis, Change and Conflict Communication C4 and offers constantly current contents about the topics negotiation and negotiation strategy. International readers can further read the English editions at Negotiation-blog.eu.
